OUR FIELD UPGRADE PROCESS

We understand that in many cases our customers cannot afford the downtime that would be required to uninstall their existing packaging system, send it off to have it upgraded and then reinstalled. Our field service department offers on-site installation quickly (typically less than 10 hours per bag filling spout), with minimal down time at an affordable cost. This also provides the opportunity for your maintenance personnel to see the installation step-by-step, learning all they need to know to properly maintain and trouble shoot the equipment.

Most Standard upgrades can be shipped out within 2-3 weeks of receipt of an order and larger upgrades and non-standard upgrades take between 6-8 weeks to manufacture. This equipment includes all necessary parts, supplies, and tools required for installation of the upgrade.

Installation of most single spout upgrades typically takes approximately 10-16 man-hours to install. When upgrading a machine with multiple filling spouts / scales, it is often beneficial for us to send a two-man installation team to perform the installation to keep down-time to a minimum.

Once all mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical portions of the upgrade are completely installed, debugged and running, a technician will remain on site for a minimum of one additional day to ensure there are no questions or problems. We will also train your production personnel in the use, adjustment, maintenance and trouble shooting techniques.
